Beau moved into our new place and we're counting down the days until we can be there together, FINALLY. (10 days) We're both really excited. Our apartment is cozy (minus the current smoke smell, blah). We have a totally retro 70's yellow kitchen, complete with yellow appliances that are definitely older than both of us. There are lots of trees that are currently in bloom with beautiful flowers of various colors. I love to just walk through and look at them. I discovered a new tree that I'm not familiar with that has the most amazing pink buds on it. They grow on the underneath side of the leaf and look so pretty.
We're also graced with a gaggle (whatever that means) of geese and LOTS of ducks. They're quite entertaining and fun to watch but leave unwanted presents for everyone. I've furthered my dislike for geese and prefer to just shoo them out of the way, however, we currently have a family of 11 goslings that stay nearby for us to see daily.
All in all I think we'll be really happy there.
