As we were driving back and forth we found this Air Museum. The hanger was built during WWII for K class blimps that were used for surveillance up and down the coast. It was pretty amazing. The hanger is large enough to hold 8 blimps, but currently stores several planes, jets, and helicopters from that era. Most of them have been fully restored and were fortunate enough to get a fair amount of time to check them out and read all the facts about them. Beau and I had a date night, so we drove to Lincoln city where we ate at a place called Mo’s, which is a chain that serves “chowda” all down the coast. We dominated the family in a game of Phase 10 that lasted WAY too long but was highly entertaining.
