Last weekend I went to a choir concert at the Tabernacle with some girlfriends. It was great and we really enjoyed it, however, on the last song, some guy was on stage playing a cow bell. This was the funniest thing to me. I couldn't stop smiling and had to actually repress a giggle because the line from SNL's Blue Oyster Cult comedy kept ringing through my head, " I gotta have more cowbell baby!"
What's worse, is that I've seen that specific episode enough times to have it memorized verbatim, so then the words continued to ring clear, "The last time I checked, we don't have a lot of songs that feature the cowbell, so I'd be doing my self a disservice and every member of this band, if I don't play the heck out of this thing!" Good times, I'm so glad I went, because it was such a great experience and a lot of fun to get together with the girls, but the cowbell was icing on the cake!

That is totally something that would have happened to me. I always remember these funny things at the most inconvenient times. But seriously, really why was there a cowbell, wierd.
