We suckered my Dad into going to the Festival of trees this year. He was being such a grouch and we decided he needed some Christmas Spirit. Surprisingly, when I called and asked him to go, he gave me a flat out "NO". So I convinced Lincoln to tell "Papa" that he wanted to go see the trees and wanted Papa to take him. haha. I love the Festival because it promotes such a great cause and allows you to see so much love and caring for those that have faced many challenges in their lives. When we first got there, Lincoln was sound asleep in his stroller so dad took advantage of wheeling him all over and resting from looking at all the "stupid trees"
(I think this is all a show mind you... after all, who doesn't like Christmas trees?). After waking up, Lincoln wanted to ride on Beau's shoulders and made good use of Beau's ears and cheeks for handles.
He was so funny because he kept saying the funniest things like "Peace Out Gamma". We treated him with some cotton candy, which he loved, naturally and made sure he knew all of the Christmas words. Here is a tree done for Karen Gailey (Parker's Grandma) that we recognized at the Festival.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
