Last night we went to a Bees game (Thanks for the invite Marlies. Before the game started, the Air Force had a parachute team come into the ballpark with an American flag and the game ball, but the best part was the KC-135 Tanker accompanied by 4 F-16 fighter air crafts that did a fly by at the end of the National Anthem. When we arrived the weather was perfect and just slightly overcast, but a few minutes later the clouds started rolling in and before long the downpour began. We decided to change seats so that the small awning on the stadium could block most of the rain and since we had a big blankets, we stayed fairly dry.
We got to watch an awesome lightning storm throughout the game, and expected the game to be called due to weather at every inning, but they toughed it out (and so did we) to see them win 6 to 5 over Reno.
We also went to the Bees game on Friday night to celebrate Isaac's birthday! Even though they lost, we had great seats and came close to two foul ball catches. Happy Birthday Isaac!
