Day 10- Education Week

Alright, alright.... I got a little behind, but here I am catching up.

Thursday Beau and I went to education week at BYU. I know that some of you already have the nerd alert finger waving at us, but we had so much fun! This is something I look forward to every year, and although I cannot attend the full week, I definitely try to get in as much as I can in the one day that I go. I thought I would be flying solo this year, but Beau ended up wanting to go as well as my sister. Yahoo! Buddies! We went to so many classes and learned so many cool things that days later, I'm still trying to process all of it. (Thank goodness for my new free laptop, and how much better I can take notes!)
Here is a top ten list of our favorite things about education week.
10. Ideas on how we can better our lives and the motivation to accompany it.
9. The bread making class. I heart bread!!!
8. The plethora of socks and sandals that could be viewed between each class.
7. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. (Go go go Joe!!!)
6. Preparing healthy meals in a pressure cooker. (Yes Ambo, I now want one too.)
5. The months worth of exercise we got walking around campus.
4. The reminder that the Swine flu is contagious and to be careful if not feeling well.
3. Almost turfing it down the stairs because I was so focused on my phone. HELLO!
2. Sitting outside and enjoying lunch in the shade.
1. The bells that chime 'Come come ye Saints' every hour. SO COOL!

So you were spiritually uplifted AND had the enjoyment of people watching. That is heaven on earth right there!
