Day 5- The Type of Things We Find Funny

This is for you, girls!
We're always keeping our eye open for the type of things that are so far out there that we have to actually take a picture of it to prove it's existence, but in this case, who needs a picture when they have a website!?!?! The other day Beau and I saw this website advertised in the back window of a car. Although I took a picture (of course I did) it was difficult to read, so we looked them up.
I'd like to introduce you to Pinca Pet Caskets... http://www.pincacaskets.com/
That's right, pet caskets. Located out of Orem, mind you. Feel free to browse the website, but I had to point out a few of the things I found particularly interesting.
One.... Their Home page welcome.
We value the love and commitment our pets have shown us through the years and believe that we should honor their memory much the same as we would any other member of our family. (By burying them in the backyard in $200 casket???)
We are proud to offer to you our innovative, unique line of premium pet caskets and urns. (Is there a non-innovative pet casket?) Our products are made from 100% sealable, non-biodegradable plastics and available in many beautiful finishes and colors. (You have got to be kidding me!)
and Two... (Don't laugh too hard...) Found on the 'Instructions' portion.
Tape should be at room temperature before applying for better installation and seal. (We're taping this sucker closed?)
Apply tape around inside perimeter of the casket lid lip, close to the radius (See Figure 1).
Press tape, with paper still attached, firmly to the lid to insure a good bond.
Stop adhering tape 1-2 inches from starting point to pull back the paper from starting point no more than 2 inches.
Continue bonding the tape to the casket lid until you overlap the tape over the starting end of the tape.
Remove the remaining paper from tape.
Place lid onto casket base, pressing firmly around all sides making sure there is a tight seal.
(Careful not to touch the dead pet)
See Example A.

Is anyone else weirded out by the concept of pet cemetery in your own backyard? Side note: After carefully reviewing their website, we found that they're not alone. In fact, you can find all kinds of creepy stuff for your dead pets and even bury them with satin ruffled linings. (Too each their own.) Alright, I'm weirded out and probably gave myself nightmares.... 'I'm just sayin"!'

I wonder if they make horse caskets? You know if case we actually keep a horse long enough for it to go to horse heaven. Also if I did buy a casket from them I might have to go back to school so I can learn how to seal that casket closed. Seriously is it just me or are those directions very involved?

uhhh SAY WHAT?!?!?! It's called a shoe box, people. (but like Janessa said, to each their own) Heck, I would decorate a shoe box with doilies (sp?) and ribbon and sell them on ebay if I knew there was a market for them (and by would decorate.. I mean I WOULDN'T). Numero Uno reason as to WHY I do not want a pet.
