The Greatest Month for Being Grateful

Since we're nearing in on half-way through November, it's about time I got my act together and updated the ol' blog, eh? Prepare for a long post.
Considering the month that we're in, I've been thinking a lot about just how thankful I should be for the THOUSANDS of things I take for granted every day. Heaven knows I could make a list a mile long, (and let's face it, I may or may not still make the list. tee hee) but this year I feel differently about what I'm grateful for. Typically the first few things that come to mind are Beau, and my family, etc... but I've realized throughout this year that there are thousands of things each day that we neglect to give a second thought about that we are so lucky to have. If any of you are like me, you frequently pass up the opportunity to be grateful for something because you hadn't realized that it was a commodity until you've lost whatever it was that you neglected to be grateful for at the time.

The other day I was introduced to one of the most inspiring blogs I have ever seen.
nieniedialogues.blogspot.com
I was in tears as I scrolled through it and read the account of this awesome AWESOME woman! I suppose I had never given a second thought to the ability to hold a child, or use my body in the way it was intended, even if it meant sitting up, or rolling out of bed. I cannot begin to imagine the challenges that others face daily that never seemed to have even crossed my mind and I suddenly feel very blessed to enjoy the numerous wonders that I utilize all the time.
Anyway...
Read the blog... you'll get it. In the meantime, I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful things in my life, that I can't begin to express it. Today I'm mostly grateful for the gift of life, in which I can learn, and grow, and experience the wonders of this world. What are you grateful for?

I know that blog, has me in tears also. Becky's sister in law brother is married to one of her sisters. I read another one of her sister's blog called Cjane enjoy it. http://blog.cjanerun.com/ she kept up when her sister was in the plane accident. Their family is amazing. Makes me truly reflect on the importance of life.

That was a great post. I have been reading Nie Nie's blog for over a year now, and I read her sister's blog while Stephanie was still in a Coma so that I could follow her progress. She has literally changed my life! You should also read through her blog archives and read before her accident...it's all WONDERFUL!
BTW...I LOVE the new blog look!!

Love that blog. She has been such an inspiration to me. What a great example she is to the entire world. I have a gratitude list a mile long, but I would say the thing I am most grateful for is Gods hand in all that we do. I don't know why we have the challenges we have, but I do know he is there, helping every step of the way.
Love ya!
