The First Date

Our first date was in April of 2007. Beau picked me up on his trusty "yellow jacket" (Suzuki Katana motorcycle) but not before taking a trip to he local motorcycle shop to buy a new helmet. I like to think it was because he didn't want me to have to use some nappy helmet that had been used by numerous other riders, but he claims it was because his extra helmet broke on his drive to pick me up. Anyway, we went to dinner at Settabello's, this awesome pizza place downtown that had just opened, and then cruised over to a local place for some billards. I toasted him in every game, but Beau claims his loss was due to distraction. What a fun night! From that day on we've seen each other every day... almost.
