The next day we went north to the famous “Cannon Beach”. Most of us are more familiar with it through the filming of the movie Goonies. The beach was beautiful and the famous rocks were HUGE! There is much more wind than expected but it made for perfect kite flying and we witnessed some very extravagant and cool kites of all sizes and shapes. We visited the most amazing candy store called “Bruce’s Candy Shop”. They sell just about everything, but our favorite was the salt water taffy that was very fresh and flavorful. We observed that Oregon seems to be a lot more “dog friendly”. Everywhere we went there were dogs that were very well behaved and cared for.

So who was your tour guide. They did a great job. If you go to Oregon you have to do salt water taffy. I hope you bought a huge bag of it. yum
Looks like you guys had an awesome time. That part of the country is my favorite, I would do that vacation year after year if I could, actually I would live there if it wasn't so expensive.
