Camping for Labor Day

Our annual Labor day Camping trip was a hit this year. We decided to spice things up by starting some new traditions. The guys were engaged in creating potato guns that were much more fun than I had previously anticipated. They launched potatoes and compared how far each gun could shoot them. Beau also decided to bring his old golf clubs on the trip which entertained the kids for hours. The big surprise was announced of which sex Todd and Michelle's baby was. Hayden and Cooper were told that they couldn't tell anyone until Todd got back to camp from hunting. As soon as he was within sight of camp Hayden shouted, "Dad's back, it's a boy, let's eat cupcakes!" Everyone was scattered around setting up camp, but we all got the gist. Also, noteworthy. Hayden is so excited that he's getting another brother. He's hoping Todd and Michelle have one more boy so he can have his own rock band. Welcome baby boy Sargent in January!
