I know I've been a total slacker with keeping the blog updated, but we've been so busy having fun, that I haven't taken the time. So here's a little of what we've been doing to catch everyone up.
4th of July
The 4th of July is one of my all time favorite holidays. I absolutely LOVE everything about it. This year, Beau and I slept in late, and then headed to Ruth's Diner up Immigration Canyon for breakfast. It was excellent, and I highly recommend it. There was live music, and we got to eat outside on the patio which has this awesome ambiance about it. We went with my family to the parade and fireworks in Riverton, and there's a bit to mention about that.
First- at the parade, the emergency vehicles came through with their sirens on. They were so loud, that I think I've lost some of my hearing. I had Griff on my lap when they came through, and I was so concerned about covering his ears, that I neglected my own. So... since I'm sure that I'll need a hearing aid before long, don't mind my repetitious 'What did you say?'

We've also spent some time in the pool the last few weeks. We had a BBQ at the Miner's Club in Park City with Beau's fam, and then swam in the pool up there. And later swam at our pool with Mindi, Tyler and Lincoln. We've had a great couple of weeks and absolutely LOVE summer!

I forget how lucky you are to have a pool at your place!! I'm coming over!!! :P Ha ha!! It sounds like you guys are having a fun, busy summer and that's awesome! I haven't been to Ruth's forever, good idea.
