Day 17- Funniest Email EVER

I'm sure that I'm not the only one out there that thinks this is funny. If you don't think it's funny, than I am sorry, but rest assured, I didn't actually do anything to this cat... I was just forwarded the picture. However, if I had thought of making the sign first, I would definitely have to take credit.

This is my favorite email of all time. I have had it for years and every time I open it, I laugh. No, I don't think it's funny that the poor thing died, but whoever put that sign up... well, now that's just funny.
This reminded me of a cat story that I would like to share with all of you. (I'm limiting this to just one story, because I don't want to be known as "The Cat Hater")
While living with my lovable roommate Sara, I had to tolerate a cat that resided in our garage. For whatever reason it particularly liked to curl up on the hood of my car when I got home from work. (heat from the engine?) One day after a short stop at the house, I went out to my car to find smelly cat (I have no idea what its name was, nor do I care, thus the name of smelly cat. Thank you Friends) curled up on the center of the hood of my car. I climbed into my car and started the enging thinking that it would scare him and he'd jump off. He didn't. So I opened the garage door and put the car in reverse. He still didn't budge. So I backed out. At the end and bottom of the driveway (we lived on a hill) the cat finally perched its head up and gave me the crustiest look a cat has ever given. That did it. I paused momentarily to decide what to do. I knew I couldn't keep driving down the road with him on my car for fear that he would fall off and I'd run over him (or someone else would) so I concocted a plan. I pulled out on the street and backed up a few feet. Then I put the car into drive and floored it. About 10-15 feet later, I slammed on the brakes. Problem solved. No more kitty on hood of car.
Good times.

That reminds me of another cat story. There was a cat at my grandma's one day and we knew it didn't belong so my brother gently threw it in the right direction with his foot (I promise he didn't kick him, just threw him). You would think a cat would get a clue. It kept coming back over and over again with a loving meow. The dumb cat couldn't tell when he wasn't wanted. lol Cats!
