Flashback Friday-Trading Spaces

A couple of years ago, our place looked like this... We had just moved in and were surrounded by wedding gifts and lawn furniture. We loved the space of our apartment. We had plenty of room and since we lived on the bottom floor, we had very little cost in the summer to keep our place cool. It was truly something to behold. Although I'm grateful to have lived with yellow appliances that out date us by at least a decade, I'm excited to move on to something a little .... newer, for lack of a better word. I think it will help us to appreciate it more.

Yesterday our offer was accepted on this totally awesome house! We're so excited to finally be in the 'home buying' stage instead of the 'home shopping' stage. It was an ordeal and not something I want to do again any time soon.

Fingers crossed all goes well for the next month. More house photos soon to come! ☺
In the meantime. A few things to look forward to:
1. No ducks, or geese... or any other bird walking around leaving 'gifts' behind for others to step on.
2. Natural light. No more dungeon living for us.
3. Garage space! Hooray! I will NOT scrape off my car next winter.
4. A HUGE bath tub. SO excited for this feature.
5. Storage space

Congratulations! Well, almost, but exciting to be past that first step! I too hope it goes through so you don't have to go back. And then you can invite us all over to see it!
