It's time to try something new. I needed a little motivation to get blogging again, and since our lives aren't too exciting right now, I've decided to start Flashback Fridays.
I absolutely LOVE this picture of Beau. It cracks me up every time I look at it. He still gets that same expression on his face that seems to say 'I'm fine and having a great time, what's your deal?'
This picture reminds me of what it was like to grow up back in the day. We spent hours outside playing (mostly to keep our mother's sanity, I'm sure). It was before the days of Nintendo (uh yeah... other kids had Nintendo..but my parents opted for making us go outside to play, instead), bike helmets, and seat belts. It was before the fast food craze, before computers were cool and telephones were 'attached' to something. If you wanted to go play you had to walk all the way over to your friends house to see if they were there. Back in the day when school started in September and ended in May and you could spend the entire summer running around without shoes and watching The Price Is Right every morning while eating a HUGE bowl of cold cereal. We weren't afraid to get dirty, or sunburned, and we certainly weren't afraid to get sick. (I can only fathom the germs that were shared).I could go on and on, but you get the picture...
Does anyone else remember?

That boy has trouble written all over his face. Watch out, the Mothers Curse works!
Haha! Oh boy do I remember those days. They were awesome. I sometimes will throw on my bathing suit and run in the sprinklers just to remember how great it was.
