Meet Surrey

Last week we got a new addition to our little family. Meet Surrey, our little yorkie puppy
She's currently about 2 pounds and so tiny and cute!
Since I've recently switched job responsibilities, I'm now working from home. Surrey likes to cuddle and is usually curled up on my lap. When she gets tired of that, she climbs on the desk and falls asleep right next to my keyboard. Occassionally, she'll try to stand on the keyboard, which types a few crazy letters, but she's so cute, I usually just laugh and take more pictures.
She's feisty and full of energy and does the funniest things. A few funny things;
We have a glass door on our shower, and when I'm in there in the mornings, she can see me, but can't figure out how to get in there, so she barks at me until I'm finished, and then smothers me when I step out like she hasn't seen me in years.
She slides all over our wood flooring. It's the funniest thing we've ever seen when she's running across the room and suddenly takes a little spill because her back end gets ahead of her.
She's definitely a social dog. She does not like to be alone, and will even drop a treat that she's eating if you leave the room so that she can follow us.

Anyway, we love her and can't wait for all of you to meet her.
